The DKW two-stroke engine with 3 cylinders in line (no valvers, camshafts, tappets etc) produces 48 HP. It is very sturdy and economical motor as the only moving parts are pistons, the connecting rods and the crankshaft. "Petroil" lubrication prevents early wear, and allows for inmediate cold-starting and continnous full-speed driving.
